Q: Can foreigners buy a residence?

Yes. Non-residents can hold a 90-year leasehold (three 30-year terms) that may include a clause to convert to freehold if you qualify, and Thai nationals and companies can hold freehold. The right route depends on the residence and your status, and we explain the options for each project.

Q: Is there a rental programme?

Owners can opt into a hotel-managed rental programme. At Layan Residences and Avadina Hills it works with Anantara Layan Phuket Resort, and Kiara Reserve is managed by Minor Hotels.
